A Short Film by Ilyas Sheikh · MMXXVI
“Order can only come from the ruins of chaos”
Four men. One deal. It goes bad and one of them doesn't walk away. What's left of the gang turns on itself — every glance a question, every silence an accusation. Who tipped off the cops? FORKS is a short crime thriller about paranoia, loyalty, and the quietest weapon in the drawer.
00 — The Story
Harlow runs a tight crew — King, Coleman, and Sheikh — moving quiet jobs through a city that doesn't ask too many questions. Tonight is supposed to be a simple exchange. It isn't. Shots get fired. One of their own hits the floor and doesn't get back up.
Back behind locked doors with the body still warm, the survivors do the math. Someone tipped the cops. Someone in this room. The deal was clean until it wasn't, and the only people who knew the meet were the four of them.
What follows is a long night of accusations, half-truths and worse — a gang turning its forks inward, deciding who eats and who gets eaten before sunrise.
